Christopher Fanning PT CSCS has been a licensed physical therapist for the last 13 years in the health and fitness industry.
He graduated from SUNY at Stony Brook with a Physical Therapy degree in 1998 and has worked as a physical therapist and personal trainer in a variety of healthcare settings, specializing in sports rehabilitation and injury prevention. He has his CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Certification) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
Chris has completed all course work at Teachers College, Columbia University for a master’s degree in Applied Physiology and Nutrition and is currently writing his master’s thesis on “Sports Nutrition.” He has completed his Dietetic Internship, including working with the Columbia athletic teams at Teachers College and will be a Registered Dietician by the end of October.
Chris has counseled clients of all ages in sports nutrition, wellness prevention and long-term weight loss. He has a passion for optimizing health and wellness through exercise and nutrition. Chris’ treatment approach is based upon the most recent evidenced-based health, nutrition and exercise studies.
